A new language is easier to learn without fear. With patience, clear explanations and someone who really listens. Every new word is a bridge: to a better grade, a new job, family far away or a new country.

What we teach

What would you like to learn?

Pick a language and book your first lesson. We start with a short level test and build the plan around you.

RO Romanian

Romanian for families abroad and newcomers

  • Children growing up abroad: reading, writing and chatting with grandparents.
  • Complete beginners: everyday Romanian first, grammar a little at a time.
  • Adults: moving to Romania, working with Romanians or part of a Romanian family.
  • Explained in English whenever it helps.
EN English

English for every age

  • Children 6–10: words, reading and speaking through play.
  • Teens 11–18: grammar, writing and conversation.
  • Adults: English for work, travel or settling abroad.
  • Exams: Cambridge, IELTS, Romanian Baccalaureate.
Teachers

Two teachers, two worlds

Fourteen years in the classroom each. One taught in England, the other in Romania. Both know what it's like to learn a new language.

Romanian

Irina-Elena Andrei

Irina taught Romanian language and literature for 14 years and holds Romania's second teaching degree. She loves literature, theatre and public speaking, and it shows: in her lessons, words come alive and students learn to speak without fear.

14 years teaching English C2
Gradul didactic II Second teaching degree
A higher professional grade for Romanian teachers, earned through classroom inspections and an exam after years of teaching.
How Irina teaches
  • Romanian you can use straight away: greetings, family, shopping and everyday situations first.
  • In English when it helps: then she switches to Romanian bit by bit.
  • Stories and culture: short texts, songs and traditions, especially for children.
  • Speaking with confidence: lots of conversation practice.
  • Step by step: clear goals for every lesson.

Adults welcome too. Moving to Romania, marrying into a Romanian family, or simply wanting to talk to the grandparents? It's never too late to start.

English

Alexandra Strezoiu

Alexandra spent ten years teaching in an English school, after helping children who were new to English find their feet in British classrooms. Her lessons are calm and patient, and mistakes aren't judged: they're how we learn.

  • Tailored to each learner: a different pace and examples for every student.
  • Step by step, with feedback: small goals, so progress is easy to see.

FAQ

Good to know

How do online lessons work?

On Google Meet, from a laptop, tablet or phone. You only need internet, a camera and a microphone. All materials are digital.

We live outside Romania. Which time zones do you cover?

We schedule lessons around your time zone. Most families in Western Europe are only one or two hours behind Romania.

My child understands Romanian but answers in English. Can you help?

Yes, this is very common for children growing up abroad. We start from what they already know and build their confidence to speak, read and write.

Are lessons one-to-one or in groups?

Both are possible. One-to-one lessons follow your pace; small groups (up to 3 students, 120 minutes) work well for siblings or friends of the same age and level.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer before the lesson. We'll send you the details once we agree on a schedule.

What if I need to cancel?

Let us know at least 24 hours in advance and we'll reschedule at no cost.
